Dear Nativity Family,

This Sunday, November 21, Tina Frizzell will be leading Morning Prayer and preaching at Nativity. Tina is a communicant at St. Peter’s, Oxford and is currently enrolled in the A.C. Marble School where she is studying to become a Deacon. Please extend a generous welcome to Tina.

Advent begins Sunday, November 28. Below is a schedule for our rhythm of life during Advent. Additional details will be forthcoming.

December 5 Advent II Lessons and Carols; St. Nicholas celebration for children

December 12 Advent III

December 19 Advent IV

December 20 Blue Christmas/Longest Night service with First United Methodist Church

Service begins at 5:30 p.m. at FUMC

December 24 Christmas Eve Service of Holy Eucharist, begins at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesdays in Advent (Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22) Book Study via Zoom 7:00 p.m.

Thursdays in Advent (Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23) Compline 8:30 p.m. via Zoom or Facebook Live

On November 28, as the adults return their pledge cards, we humbly ask our children to bring a pair of mittens or gloves to be donated to an appropriate agency in Water Valley. Adults are welcome to participate, too.

Wishing all a very Happy Thanksgiving. This year, may our gratitude and generosity be manifest in the gifts we share.
