Hello everyone. Are you doing well? We hope you are all taking care of yourselves physically, mentally and spiritually this week. And if you are looking for an outlet for mental/spiritual exercise, we suggest that you join in on Fr. Kirk’s new book study. Here’s the blurb:

Book Study of Becoming Wise

7:00-8:00 pm via Zoom

Krista Tippett (of On Being podcast fame) draws on her life and experiences, as well as interviews from over the years, to address what it means to be fully human and live a life of goodness. This thought-provoking book full of storytelling and practical advice is based around five themes: words, the body, love, faith, and hope. The Rev. Kirk LaFon will facilitate discussion.

So feel free to join in if that tickles your fancy. There should be some hearty discussions born from dissecting this book.

And if any of you are wondering, “What about that Bible Slam news that was being talked about a couple of weeks ago?” Well, do not fret. It is still happening and news will be forthcoming soon.

Please be safe and kind to others and yourselves this week. Christ’s peace be with you all!

-Sean
