Another Week in Lockdown

Hello and Happy Earth Day everyone! Well it seems like we’ve got a similar week on our hands. A week that requires us to stay at home and away from people that we care about. We hope all of you have found ways to stay sane! And some of you are still pretty busy. We imagine anyone working in the medical sector, grocery stores, drug stores and delivery services are maybe hoping to have some more down time right now. Whatever your situation, know that Nativity is here and we’re only an email away.  Last week, we asked if anyone needed help with trees that fell during the Easter storm. It turned out that Tressa, Brandon and Amelia McLeod were in need of a chainsaw. Well help was on the way and the name of this kind lad was Wood Robinson. He was there shortly after the request for help was made and did some fine work cutting those trees down to size. Great work Wood! Thank you for helping out friends in need. You are a powerhouse! Get ready for another Pub Theology session tonight @6 p.m. Given that we are celebrating the earth today, the topic of discussion will be ‘Religion and the Environment’. Tonight’s meeting will be a little different in that it will involve a little bit more people outside of our Nativity sphere. You could expect to see some people from St. Peter’s, St. Andrew’s School in Jackson and students from ECOM in the mix. So if you’ve been wanting to meet and talk to some new faces, tonight will be your chance! Pub Theology Zoom link here Our former music director, Brenda Prager, is on a roll again with some new hymns for Eastertide. Since we can’t be at church on Sunday, it’s nice that Brenda has been able to help us bring church into our homes. Thank you for your talent and time in providing this resource for us Brenda!
