Giving as a Church

Hello, all you fine folks. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are ready for Advent. To bring in the season of giving, we wanted to let you all know about Nativity’s charitable focus this month.

Nativity has chosen to give to the Yalobusha Nursing Home Gift Basket Fund (unofficial name) this year. Every Christmas, the nurses and aids at the Yalobusha Nursing Home pull together some cash to make gift baskets for their residents. The baskets are filled with necessities as well as some requested items from each resident. Given all that the nursing home has been through this year (multiple COVID-19 lockdowns), we think this is a worthy venture to give our attention to. If you would like to help with Nativity’s contribution to the Yalobusha Nursing Home Gift Basket Fund, please send your checks/cash to:

609 North Main St

Water Valley, MS 38865

The due date to receive your contribution is by DECEMBER 12. We appreciate your consideration!

In other news, Bible Slam is still going on. We are still etching our way through the Psalms. Pay a visit to the church and read a spell. The church is open from around 8:30 a.m. to sundown.
