Three times a week I attend the "older" adults exercise class at the Y. One of the stretching exercises is to turn our necks as far to the left and to the right as possible. The other day I thought what a good exercise for Sundays - turning around to see who is coming in. Last weekend, out-of-the-blue Sally Lott made a comment that I've pondered all week. She said, "I know it's probably rude, but I get excited when I hear the church doors open. I just have to turn around and see which of my friends is coming through the door." I wonder if God gets excited, too, when he sees his Beloved coming through the doors. If you haven't been through the doors lately, know that you are missed. We are truly stronger together: individually and collectively.
