Nativity Newsletter

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me….

Dear Nativity Family,

Once again, we will be meeting via Zoom for our Sunday worship. The Mission Committee and I continue to monitor Covid in our area, and in consultation with the Mission Committee this week, we feel that it is best to continue virtual Morning Prayer for a few weeks longer. I continue to be grateful for technology in allowing us to “see” one another.

I encourage you to join in reading the book of Exodus with the Good Book Club. These readings set the foundation for our faith. Jesus has long been compared to Moses; it is good to reacquaint ourselves with his journey. This Sunday, we hear Jesus reading from Torah; daily reading is a great spiritual exercise for all of us!

Please continue to pray for the Church of the Nativity and its leadership. We will most likely hold an annual Parish Meeting in early February, and it may be virtual. In the meantime, please keep the faith, keep in touch with one another and be well!

See you on Zoom on Sunday.

Faithfully,

Ann +

Vicar
