Newsletter from Vicar Ann

Dear Nativity Family,

The Blessing of the Animals in the Pocket Park last Saturday was indeed a blessing! Thank you to those of you who were able to attend. If you didn't make it, please contact me about a home visit and blessing for your special "friends & family!"

My grandmother always said that many hands make light work! This Friday, October 15, is World Food Day. This day calls attention to the problem of hunger around the world. The Pandemic has caused many shortages in many places. One of the ways we can participate in World Food Day is to bring items for our Blessing Box. As you shop each week, I encourage you to select staple type items for the Box. And if you haven't signed up for a month to over see the Blessing Box, please do so. Our hands work together to provide for others.

October 31st is coming fast!! Weather permitting, we will gather at the home of Joe and Kathryn York for an outside Eucharist followed by a meal on that Sunday. Children should be encouraged to wear their Halloween Costume. And adults may also "dress up"; perhaps you'd like to choose your favorite saint and quiz all of us. If the weather does not allow for outdoor worship, we will meet at the Church. Service time is 10:30 a.m. Further details are coming next week.

I look forward to joining you in worship this Sunday. Please pray for one another.

Blessings,

Ann +

Vicar
