Ash Wednesday’s Service Plans Have Changed.

Hello, folks. Due to all this crazy weather, we have decided to cancel Nativity’s Ash Wednesday’s noon Zoom service. We would like to direct all of you to St. Peter’s Ash Wednesday service on Zoom @5 p.m. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this seemed like the best choice for our church at this time. You will find the links for St. Peter’s service below as well as a message from our friend, Rev. Ann Whitaker. We hope to see you next weekend for Sunday Morning Prayer @ 10:30 a.m. Christ’s peace be with you all!

A message from Rev. Ann Whitaker to the Church of the Nativity:

Greetings to everyone. Today is known as Shrove Tuesday in the church; commonly known as Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras in the South. Hope pancakes are on your menu tonight.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. Since we are unable to be together, I am posting a few resources for families and individuals from Building Faith, a wonderful website for Episcopalians and others. Here is the first: https://us8.campaign-archive.com/?u=81191640565cfef85d9ce1249&id=af22fe443e

You can also subscribe to their emails. Their website is worthy of y our time.

Here are a couple of others
