Greetings Nativity Family!

We are approaching the Dog Days of Summer! Please take care in this summer heat.

This Sunday, we will gather for in person worship at 10:30 a.m. Please wear a mask! All visitors are asked to wear a mask. Communion will be served in both kinds; wine will be served by intinction only and instructions will be given at Communion time. As the Anglican edict goes, All may, some should, none must.

Meeting ID: 871 2028 5345 Passcode: 882736

If you need drive-by communion, please let me know.

UPCOMING EVENTS: The Watermelon Festival is upon us. Church of the Nativity will have a lemonade stand in front of the church on August 7. We will need chairs, ice chests & ice, a scoop, paper cups, a trash can, and trash bags. A canopy will be provided. Hand cleaner and paper towels will be provided. All are invited to help! Contact Joe York or James McCormick for more information.

Book Study: Beginning August 15, we will study Love is the way by Bishop Michael Curry, who is our Presiding Bishop. August 15 will be an orientation session via Zoom. A link will be sent to you at a later date. Please let me know if you would like to participate.

Confirmation classes will begin in September. Classes will be a combination of in person sessions and also Zoom. Again, please let me know if you are interested.

The continuing pandemic presents challenges to all of us! We will continue to work together to love and serve the Lord as best we can.

Let us continue to pray and support one another. I look forward to gathering with you this Sunday. Until then, may God watch between us...

Faithfully, Ann + Vicar
